Recycle in partnership with GLAD®
TerraCycle and GLAD® have partnered to create the GLAD® Food Storage Recycling Programme, a free recycling programme for GLAD® ClingWrap, bags, containers and dispensers.

How it works
Check out the students at Reremoana School in Auckland learning about recycling and upcycling GLAD® products with our founder and CEO, Tom Szaky!
Participating is completely free and very easy.
Firstly, join the programme through your online account. When you are ready to send in a shipment, download a shipping label from your TerraCycle account by clicking “Request a postage label” and follow the prompts. Print out your label and tape it securely onto your box. Ship the box to TerraCycle by dropping it off at your nearby post office.

1. GLAD® ClingWrap plastic wrap
2. GLAD® Snap Lock bags (including Disney)
3. GLAD® ZipSlide bags
4. GLAD® MatchWare containers
Best practices for recycling
In order to recycle this waste stream properly, please make sure all excess product has been removed (i.e. leftover foods). Additionally, if you choose to rinse your product, please note that it must be completely dry prior to shipping. You cannot ship dripping packages.
What happens to the waste
Once collected, the cling wrap, bags and containers are cleaned and melted into hard plastic that can be remolded to make new recycled products.
