There is no limit to the amount of Nespresso capsules you can collect and send in or drop off at your closest Brigade location. Please make sure your capsules are placed in a secure plastic bag before you place them in the collection boxes.

No, shipping is covered by Nespresso. Your Nespresso Coffee Capsule Brigade collections will be picked up by New Zealand Post.

Only genuine used Nespresso capsules made for in-home consumption are accepted. To recycle Nespresso commercial capsules, please contact Nespresso Professional on 1800 182 206 to enquire about a specific recycling collection box suited to large offices and hotels. Other capsules will not be able to be recycled.

Florists, garden centres and nurseries throughout New Zealand are able to sign up to become part of the Nespresso Coffee Capsule Brigade and set up a capsule collection box in their store for Nespresso customers to drop off their used capsules. Since 2010, recycling collection points have been installed in each of the Nespresso Boutiques nationally. Although Nespresso’s recycling programme is still in its infancy, the results so far are encouraging and Nespresso is committed to expand the programme with the introduction of additional collection points throughout the country.

We have partnered with Nespresso to help expand the reach of its capsule recycling programme by establishing additional collection points around the country. The Nespresso Coffee Capsule Brigade provides another way for Nespresso Club Members to recycle their used capsules in addition to Nespresso Boutiques in major capital cities.

Yes! You are encouraged to sign up for any TerraCycle Brigade that has open spots listed. Click on the "Send Your Waste" button on the top left of the website and select "See All Brigades." You can then join any Brigade that has availability.
