The Colgate® Better World Recycling Project

Welcome to the Colgate Better World Recycling Project.

Colgate® has partnered with TerraCycle® to give New Zealand schools, clubs and community groups the opportunity to win prizes simply by sending in accepted Oral Care Waste for recycling.

This year, there are ten weekly prizes of $1000 up for grabs just for submitting a shipment of Oral Care Waste.

Plus, for every shipment of waste received there is also the chance to win one of five garden beds made from recycled materials valued at $1,500 and a $200 Mitre 10 voucher to get you started with soil, seeds and garden tools.

WHO CAN ENTER?

This year, entry is open to all New Zealand pre-schools, primary, special, intermediate and secondary schools as well as not-for-profit clubs and community groups. To check if your school or group is eligible, please check the terms and conditions. 

HOW TO REGISTER AND PARTICIPATE 

In order to participate in the promotion, your school, club or community group needs to sign up here. 

Once registered we’ll send you a Project Pack with everything that you and your students or members need to get started.

Remember, all shipments of Oral Care Waste (minimum 1kg, maximum 20kg) must be sent to TerraCycle arriving no later than 29 October 2017 to be eligible for the final prize draw which will take place on 3 November 2017. 

Plus, all participants in the promotion will raise money for their chosen school or not-for-profit organisation through the standard TerraCycle Points Programme. For each shipment over 1 kilogram, your group will earn $0.02 per piece of accepted waste.

WHAT IS ORAL CARE WASTE? 

With the help of TerraCycle®, any brand of used Oral Care waste can be recycled. This includes:

• Toothpaste tubes and packaging
• Non-electric toothbrushes and packaging
• Floss containers and packaging
• Interdental brushes and packaging
